Reagan & Frank : The very day I realised that my dreams could and would come true

My big break started like this “Emily we don’t want anyone else taking photos of our wedding but you and if you say no then we will be really disappointed”.

Way to make me feel bad, nervous and excited all at the one time. This was the day that changed my life, the day that I was given the opportunity to grab hold of my dream and run with it whole heartedly. Thank you so much to two very special friends that believed in me enough to hand me an extremely important part of their special day and have the confidence that I would capture it perfectly for them. Your belief gave me the confidence to begin the life I have only ever dreamed about and for that I cannot thank you enough.

This last 7 months I have been on the biggest learning curve of my life and just looking at my photographs from back then to now I have improved out of sight. I am more confident in my style, my editing is more natural and I feel I am capturing the images as I want them to be captured. I feel I am finding my groove and I know exactly where I want this journey to take me.

Here are a few of my favourite images from that very first day I was called the “official photographer”. I am so happy and grateful and will never ever look back.

Reagan & Frank. Newcastle, DEC 2011. A perfect couple and such beautiful friends. Thank you xx
