High Tea : Worn Out Wares

As we stepped through the door of our latest new finding, there was an overwhelming sense of beauty, everything I saw I wanted to take home with me. Cute tea sets, soaps and kitchenware were placed on shelves and crates positioned randomly around the tiny room. We weaved our way to the back of the shop, not able to take my eyes off all the pretties, to a little doorway where we were greeted with smiles and the overwhelming aroma of cake and tea and chit chat from the mother’s day crowd. I was in love already.

We were seated in our own little alcove surrounded by shrubbery. A candelabra and mismatched tea cups adorned our table and we each had our own crocheted rug to keep warm. The food and tea kept coming and every taste was just as delicious as the previous. Tiny delicate pastries, gluten free tarts and every flavour of macaroon I could want was our brunch for this special day.

Thank you Worn Out Wares for providing a beautiful, unique dining experience to celebrate some very special women. We will most definitely be back.
