“Fragile, beautiful, elegant, tasty, precious and fragrant. Life is never ending, always changing and ever present. The amount of beauty within is up to the people that cherish and take hold of it and breathe in deeply the air that surrounds it”.

Today I found out that a beautiful friend lost his battle with cancer. This made me realise how short life is and how things can change is a very small instant. You need to take hold of your own dreams and goals and make sure you are living the life that you want. A life of happiness, love and content.

All my love and wishes go out to a beautiful family today and forever.

Reagan & Frank : Part Two of Pregnancy Shoot; Fun on the Beach

Time for Part Two of Reagan & frank’s pregnancy shoot. We had it planned for weeks and just as we got out of the car it began to rain. Altogether we had approximately 15 minutes of shooting time before it poured and I must say I think we did extremely well. thirty-six weeks and looks absolutely stunning, you most definitely suit pregnancy beautiful Reagan and I cannot wait to meet your little girls in a couple of weeks.

Reagan & Frank : A Boudoir Pregnancy Shoot for Twins

This shoot was very new to me but I was excited as it was for some very special friends of mine. Reagan and Frank trusted me enough, almost 2 years ago, to shoot their wedding. I had only owned my 5d for two weeks but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. So I took photos all day and night throughout their wedding and I haven’t looked back since.

Thank you to two extremely special people who saw that I had a passion and pushed me to take a hold of it. I cannot wait to meet your little princesses. I know you are going to be the most amazing parents ever.

This lucky couple got to celebrate their special day twice. By the photos from the first, in Mexico, and my experience of the second, here at P’chinos in Maitland, they were both something to never forget.

My beautiful little sister is getting married in 4 months and I am so incredibly excited. I took a few photos of this camera shy couple at a place that is very close to all of our hearts and the weather did not disappoint. Most definitely one of the most beautiful afternoons I have ever witnessed.

Kinfolk Flower Potluck Sydney : A Creative Gathering with some beautiful People

I promised myself that this year I would put myself and my work out there, be more creative and meet people. Well this beautiful little gathering was just the beginning. Hosted by the beautiful Luisa Brimble and Aleksandra at a quaint little cafe called ‘Something for Jess’ amongst the quieter streets of Sydney a perfect little gathering was had.

The beautiful ‘Kinfolk Magazine’ caters to a growing readership of young artists and food enthusiasts by focusing on simple ways to spend time together. On this still afternoon in Sydney with gorgeous food, stunning blooms and beautiful people this was very evident.

Here are some of my images from the night. Unfortunately I was too caught up with creating to take too many haha……but you get the idea. If you want some more gorgeous images to feast your eyes on have a look here.

My apartment smelt sensational for the longest time after this gathering. There is just something so lovely about fresh blooms throughout your home.

The Gumball Festival : Hunter Valley

This festival was one of the most fun I had ever been to.

Held at ‘Dashville’, the Johnston family’s bushland estate located at Belford in the Hunter Valley. This festival is a unique mix of eclectic, hippie and family atmosphere, everyone is happy and there for music and a good time. I have never experienced such a beautiful rustic setting nestled in amongst pitched tents and food stands. I can’t wait for next year.

Sydney Royal Easter Show

We awoke at the crack of dawn for a beautiful 2 hour train ride to Sydney for the Royal Easter Show. We hadn’t been since we were kids and the excitement was evident in our huge smiles (for that time of morning). Animals, art, flowers, food, drink and rides, what a day. had an absolute ball with some special friends.

From the first moment I walked into this wedding I could not wipe the smile off my face. Every single corner was filled with vintage beauty, collected glasses filled with flowers and shrubs from the garden. I was in love with it all and so it seems was everyone who attended this stunning day.
